Annual Meeting New Venue & Keynote Speaker Announced

WILLIAMSPORT – For more than a decade, the Central PA Chamber of Commerce has held its Annual Meeting & Impact Awards Ceremony at the Silver Moon Banquet Hall in Lewisburg. The catering and hospitality expertise of Scott Thurston’s Feast of Flavor has been instrumental in making the Annual Meeting a highlight of the region’s social calendar and helping the Central PA Chamber grow.

If you’ve attended multiple Central PA Chamber Annual Meetings, you know that no two events are alike. The theme, table settings, decorations, goodie bags, and special keepsake gifts are always a unique experience. This year will be no exception! Last year, Thurston announced his retirement and Feast of Flavor would be closing its doors, creating the need to change the Annual Meeting venue.

More than 230 guests attended last year’s Annual Meeting, and the Central PA Chamber’s sphere of influence has only increased with nearly 700 member businesses and organizations across over 100 zip codes in 9 US States. Much of the Chamber’s local growth has occurred just north of our Milton headquarters, so it is with great pleasure that the Central PA Chamber of Commerce can announce the 2026 Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony will be held at Farrington Place, 416 W. 3^rd Street, Williamsport on Thursday, October 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Eric Winters and his team at Farrington Place have been more than accommodating all the Chamber’s unique requests and needs to continue the legacy of this premier event. For the past several years, the Annual Meeting & Impact Awards Ceremony has reached audience capacity. The new venue allows for up to 300 people to register to attend. Leadership is an essential ingredient for any successful organization. The Chamber is thrilled to share the keynote speaker for this year’s event is an entrepreneur and leader, well known in the Williamsport area, Dan Manetta, Leadership & Management Trainer & Consultant.

As a professional educator, Dan develops programs and teaches leadership, management, strategic planning, accounting and other related topics for businesses and non-profits. He is an entrepreneur with experience in private consulting, commercial printing, and other education-related ventures. Dan was Executive Director of the Innovative Manufacturers Center, Vice President and Director of Corporate Education for Citizen’s & Northern Bank, Procurement Team Manager and Training Manager for Lycoming Engines, Center Director for Huntington Learning Center, and US Army Captain & Team Commander in NATO Forces Europe.

Dan holds a Master of Business Education from Bloomsburg University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Penn State University. He also has formal education in military and civilian leadership, enterprise transformation, process mapping, lean manufacturing, quality assurance systems, banking, and organization development.

In addition to being a frequently sought public speaker, Manetta currently sits on the board of directors for a regional manufacturer in the high-tech industry, involved in Christian ministries, and is a published author.
