Oversight on budget preparation, constant review, monitoring and adjustment of the various investments for the Chamber and its related corporations. The committee must review and monitor monthly income and expenditure reports of the treasurer.

Business & Education
Chair: Joel Harris, The Salvation Army – Milton
Promote relationships between the school districts in the region and the business community by making resources available that encourage a better understanding of the free enterprise system. Organizes student job shadowing, career fairs and other programs to enhance student awareness of job opportunities and employer needs. The Central PA Business & Education Association, organizes an annual Golf Tournament to raise funds for Business & Education programs.
The committee meets from noon to 1 p.m. on the last Tuesday of the following months: February, April, July, September and November. Serve as liaisons between the Chamber and future members and assist them in fully recognizing the benefits of membership. Through periodic visits and phone calls, the Engagement Team assists the Chamber in fulfilling its Mission Statement of being the “Preferred Resource Center.” This happens by recruiting members who represent services not currently represented in the existing membership, as well as gaining a better understanding of members’ business needs.

MAIDA (Milton Area Industrial Development Association)

We believe business, community and economic development is the engine that drives the sustainability of the Central PA region. Therefore, we will find ways to bring new business growth into our communities.
- Pursue physical property that the Chamber can use to develop business growth.
- Assist with capital needs for new or expanding businesses.
- Identify funding sources to attract new businesses.
