Budget & Finance

Oversight on budget preparation, constant review, monitoring and adjustment of the various investments for the Chamber and its related corporations. The committee must review and monitor monthly income and expenditure reports of the treasurer.

Business & Education
Chair: Beth George, Meadowbrook Christian School
Promote relationships between the school districts in the region and the business community by making resources available that encourage a better understanding of the free enterprise system. Organizes student job shadowing, career fairs and other programs to enhance student awareness of job opportunities and employer needs. The Central PA Business & Education Association, organizes an annual Golf Tournament to raise funds for Business & Education programs.
The committee meets from noon to 1 p.m. on the last Tuesday of the following months: February, April, July, September and November. Meetings are held in The Ross Room at the Central PA Chamber, unless otherwise noted. If you are interested in joining this committee, e-mail [email protected].

Serve as liaisons between the Chamber and future members and assist them in fully recognizing the benefits of membership. Through periodic visits and phone calls, the Engagement Team assists the Chamber in fulfilling its Mission Statement of being the “Preferred Resource Center.” This happens by recruiting members who represent services not currently represented in the existing membership, as well as gaining a better understanding of members’ business needs.

Serves as the promotional backbone for anything Central PA Chamber of Commerce and its affiliate organizations. They brainstorm impactful ways to promote our organization and events as well as review our current efforts.

Committee members shall consist of those members of the Central PA Chamber of Commerce who have been the Chairman of the Board of Directors and remain in good standing with the Chamber.
