FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MILTON – The Central PA Chamber of Commerce welcomes several new and returning members to its Board of Directors starting in January 2025.
Elected to three-year terms following the membership-wide election in November are: Alison Hall, Realtor at RE/MAX Bridges, Lewisburg; Peter Swift, Executive Director of Camp Susque, Inc., Trout Run; and Ron Mackley, a retired, community member of the Chamber.
In addition, incumbent Genie Bausinger, Executive Director of the Milton Regional Sewer Authority, Milton, was re-elected to serve a second three-year term. Tina Welch, Founder & Principal Consultant for Welch Performance Consulting, Bloomsburg, was appointed to the board to fulfill the remainder of a vacancy and was elected to complete her first, full term.
With new board members means others are stepping down. They include: Will Greiner, Lean Process Excellence Leader at Great Dane, Danville; and Nate Lawrence, President of United Plate Glass, Sunbury.
Also ending his term with the Central PA Chamber Board of Directors is Robert Jones, a board member of the Milton Historical Society, who served as chairman for the past year as well as several previous officer positions.
“I am delighted to be a returning member of the Board of Directors! Having been a member of the Central PA Chamber of Commerce for 17 years, I know firsthand how valuable the Chamber is to its members and how essential those connections are to fostering growth and success,” said Hall, a previous board director and 2023 Impact Award winner.
Swift stated, “Organizations like the Central PA Chamber of Commerce are working to provide collaboration and training opportunities to strengthen our small businesses so that they can grow, thrive, and provide healthy and stable employment opportunities in our own backyards. I want to be a part of that work, and look forward to fostering greater collaboration and working relationships between businesses in our community.”
The Central PA Chamber thanks all of this year’s board candidates, everyone who made nominations and the board’s nominating committee. The committee included: Chairman Jones; Director of the Board, Sheri Marshall, Financial Advisor for Edward Jones, Selinsgrove; former Directors Hall, Mackley, and Lennea Brown, Community Member from West Milton; and Ellen Ruby, Director of the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership.
A total of 470 votes were tallied from ballots submitted by a Central PA Chamber member organization’s “primary contact” or “voting member”.
The 2025 board officers, who make up the Executive Committee, will be elected by their peers during the February 2025 board meeting.
