The Union County Housing Authority (UCHA) is a small rural housing authority located in the “heartland” of central Pennsylvania. Its mission is to provide safe, decent, sanitary, affordable housing to income eligible residents and to provide related community services within Union County. The Union County Housing Authority offers a comprehensive program of services including elderly housing development and management, family housing management, homeowner rehabilitation, home purchasing programs, home ownership education, and others. The funding of these programs comes from the federal and state governments and from service fees. No direct county taxes are received for housing programs.
