Charging at Work & Alternative Fuel Vehicles within Your Fleet

This Seminar & Training event will include presenters from the DEP, PennDOT and The Eastern Pennsylvania Alliance for Clean Transportation (EP-ACT is a Department of Energy sponsored organization) and OEM representatives.  The day will showcase vehicles that run on alternative fuels including electric, propane and natural gas. Presentations will include the advantages of using each of these types of alternative fuels in everyday operation, including economic, environmental and energy security within our region. The presentations will include information on state and federal grant incentive programs designed to help offset the purchase of alternative fueled vehicles and infrastructure. This event will help municipalities, school districts, fleets and businesses navigate the incentives available and help formulate a plan for our region to take advantage of state and federal funding mechanisms. The afternoon will culminate with a networking luncheon and ride and drives.
