VFW Riders Group District 15-PA

“Inspired by a shared passion for motorcycle riding and a commitment to address unmet needs in the local veteran community, the VFW Riders Group – District 15-PA was established. Just over a year old, this non-profit group consists of dedicated volunteers from diverse backgrounds, most of whom are veterans themselves. Supported by the VFW organization, our group is determined to make a meaningful “boots on the ground” impact. We serve Lycoming, Clinton, Tioga, Potter, and Cameron Counties, and strive to assist veterans from other counties whenever our resources allow. . Many veterans fall through the cracks, either because they do not qualify for certain benefits or because the help they need is not offered by the Veterans Administration. Common needs such as handiwork or repairs around the home, yard work, adaptations for disabilities, food resources, or emergency funds for utilities are often unmet. These stressors significantly impact veterans’ quality of life and mental health. Our mission is clear: NO VETERAN IS LEFT BEHIND.”
