LEWISBURG – This year’s Annual Meeting & Fundraiser will be one not to miss with several changes coming in 2018.
Yes, the Central PA Chamber staff always strives to make each year’s event different than the last one, but this year they’ve pulled out all the stops. There is a new venue, new format and a new menu!
The Annual Meeting & Fundraiser is 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 at The Silver Moon Banquet Hall, Lewisburg. Catering is provided by Feast of Flavor Catering.
Instead of three choices of meals, guests will have the opportunity to visit several food stations, including: Pasta Station w/Chicken; Broiled Salmon w/Rice Pilaf; Gyro Station; Soup & Salad Bar, Desserts; and Non-Alcoholic Beverages.
This year, the Chamber invites professional speaker Tim White, who will provide an inspirational message that ties into the event theme.
After suffering from childhood abandonment, alcohol addiction, incarceration, divorce, separation from his children, going into debt, and being broken in every sense of the word, Tim White overcame the pains of his life and decided to make them serve his greater good, rather than allowing them to consume him.
After performing for over two decades at his own comedy entertainment business, making people laugh, feel loved and appreciated, he’s also recently started a personal development business, that will inspire, motivate, and help people transform their lives, just as he did his.
He defines himself today as, “A Tragedy Turned Triumph” and looks forward to the challenges that a new business will bring to him. His goal is to not to chase success, but to make a difference, and he’s vowed to do his best to help those less fortunate than him, and he’d also like to be a helpful resource to you, as you overcome the challenges in your business, and your life, as you reach toward your full potential.
Also new this year is a silent auction, that will give Chamber members the opportunity to bid on unique prizes and opportunities with the Central PA Chamber, including: meals out with the staff, advertising opportunities and more.
And, who will be this year’s Chamber Impact Award winners? Could it be you? The Chamber staff has selected its winners, so if you’ve made an impact in the Chamber and greater community, you best come prepared with something to say when you accept your reward.
The new venue will boast a larger meeting space with several technology upgrades. You won’t want to miss it!
The cost to attend is $30 per person. To register, click here!
