Legislative Event: PA Rep. Jim Struzzi

House Republican Appropriations Chairman Jim Struzzi will address the Central PA Chamber of Commerce on Pennsylvania’s state budget and how the House Republicans’ Pennsylvania Prosperity Plan aims to improve our business climate.  The PA Prosperity plan focuses on unleashing our energy industry, supporting a student-centered education, and reducing red tape and government waste.  Before serving as a State Representative, Struzzi was the president of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, a role that has given him a unique and insightful perspective on the intersection of government and business.  These experiences have driven a new approach to connecting PA’s budget with policy to spur economic growth and opportunity.  Chairman Struzzi looks forward to engaging with the Central PA Chamber to share what the Appropriations Committee is doing to shape our budget and policy and learn from business leaders what improvements you need from state government.  

Legislative Events provide an opportunity for Central PA Chamber members and the general public to meet federal-, state- and county-elected officials, and to hear about issues affecting the community and specifically the business climate. The event begins with a breakfast buffet at 7:30 a.m., followed by the sponsor presentation and speaker at 8. The event ends at 9. There is a fee to attend, and registration is required.
