SUNBURY – Congratulations to Entrigued Beauty on its new location in Sunbury!
The Central PA Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate at their new location, 8 North 5th St. on Friday, December 8, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house.
Surrounded by family and friends, Entrigued Beauty owner and licensed cosmetologist, Ashia Harrington, explained how her salon began in 2020 during the pandemic, but “after many bumps, nothing stopped me from being where I am today.”
Harrington credits her first salon experience in New Jersey, at the age of 15, for inspiring her desire to one day own her own salon. “I promised my children and parents I would make them proud, and I did!” Judging by the crowd of supporters, in and outside the building, she certainly succeeded.
Entrigued Beauty is the first ethnic beauty salon in Sunbury, but can serve everyone’s needs. Services include: braids, locs, twists, extensions, wig install, crochet, cuts, and basic colorings. Harrington noted her in-house developed growth oil and deep conditioner revitalizes and rebuilds hair follicles and has been utilized with success for cancer patients. Woman’s accessories and glam for a night out, as well as body soaps, oils, and other products are also on offer.
Those in attendance were treated to a smorgasbord of food, enjoyed raffles and music, and left well-wishes on wall posters for Harrington.
