Girls on the Run Mid State PA
About
Girls on the Run Mid State PA is a nonprofit organization providing afterschool programs to girls in grades 3-8. Trained volunteer mentors lead participants through the suite of research-based curricula, helping address the mental health and social challenges facing girls by practicing confidence-building skills while integrating physical activity. We host programs in 11 counties in the Central PA region culminating in a celebratory 5K which brings together hundreds of girls, their families and friends each fall and spring.
