Our Mission: The mission of the Bucknell Institute for Lifelong Learning is to engage adult learners from a wide range of educational backgrounds in creative and intellectual activities that expand their horizons, invigorate their minds, stimulate curiosity and the joy of learning, and provide opportunities for social interaction. Members participate in Institute courses and other educational opportunities that reflect Bucknell University’s commitment to liberal education. The Institute endeavors to involve all participants in active learning, where ideas, interests, and life experiences are shared.
