About
Our goal is to promote the preservation of personal and public archives and collections; to protect our historic buildings; to educate and encourage an enthusiastic ongoing interest of Watsontown’s rich history to enhance our local and surrounding community. Our vision is to become a community based, research facility and historic museum, that will uplift the community by preserving its treasures and honoring its past. Our main interest is Watsontown and the surrounding communities of the Warrior Run School District which reaches across the counties of: Montour, Northumberland and Union Counties. These areas include but are not limited to: Allenwood, Dewart, Exchange, Limestonville, McEwensville, Turbotville, Washingtonville, Whitehall, and Anthony, Delaware, Gregg, Lewis, and Limestone Townships. Our range also extends to the New Columbia and White Deer areas as we recognize the historic school boundaries.
