The Scratching Post Cat Cafe offers a source of relaxation and pleasure for patrons, and serves as a unique adoption platform for area feline rescues. We do not serve food at the cafe, but rather encourage visitors to stop by other local establishments and bring a meal or snack with them when they visit. For a small fee, customers will be able to interact with the adoptable cats while getting some work done, reading a book, or catching up with friends. The relaxed atmosphere is more conducive to getting a sense of each cat’s personality than a typical shelter and will hopefully lead many of them to find forever homes. The Scratching Post is managed by Cherished Cats Rescue Alliance, a 501c(3) non-profit organization and all proceeds will be used to support continued feline rescue efforts in the region.
